Nicolas Sarkozy became part of the management of a major hotel company AccorHotels.
Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy joined the Board of Directors of hotel operator AccorHotels.
Sarkozy will head a new Committee for the strategy to AccorHotels. The task of this Department is the development of hotel chain operator abroad, and the promotion of French tourism.
“A unique international experience, Nicolas Sarkozy, and his perfect knowledge of geopolitical nuances will be a significant advantage for the company,” said CEO AccorHotels Sebastian Bazin.
In August 2016, Sarkozy announced the decision to participate in the presidential elections, scheduled for 2017. In November he was defeated in the primaries, and then said that he intends to lead a life more distant from the policy.
