The official was arrested, with the possibility of bail
The Pechersky district court of Kiev at the request of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has arrested with the possibility of bail, the former head of the Main Department of State fiscal service in Kyiv region.
As reported in the Prosecutor’s office, the sum of the assigned collateral is 1 million.
The official is suspected of abuse of power and official position in the organization of the activities of the criminal group, which he brought in his own trusted subordinates, who in the period from 2015 to 2016 on a permanent basis facilitated illegal reimbursement of VAT to economic entities, as well as evasion of income tax of physical and legal entities-entrepreneurs.
Other members of the criminal group, namely, one of the former chiefs of the state control of DFS in the Kiev region, who is suspected of trading in influence and the two heads of territorial divisions PG DFS in the Kiev region, who are suspected of abuse of office, elected a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
