The first photos of the Volkswagen Polo of new generation without camouflage

The model will be built on the smallest modification to a modular chassis MQB.

The Internet got pictures, which Volkswagen Polo hatchback new generation is shown without camouflage.

The car is photographed in South Africa.

It is already known that the model will be built on the smallest modification to a modular chassis MQB, and the wheelbase will be 2560 millimeters, 90 millimeters longer than the current Polo. It is also expected that the transition to the new platform will make the model more spacious and lighter by about 70 pounds.

As previously reported, gamma motor Volkswagen Polo of new generation will consist of petrol and diesel engines with three and four cylinders working volume of one liter and a half. Motors will be combined with mechanical and robotic gearbox with two clutches.

Before it was also noted that Volkswagen will abandon the three-door version of the hatchback Polo. In this case the family will crossover, which will compete for customers with the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur and Mazda CX-3.
