The first photos of the updated Rover Volat

A feature of the new Volat is to design the cockpit.

In Kyiv on 7 November in the international exhibition center opened the exhibition “neftegazexpo-2017”, which is a subsidiary of the company “Burovaya Tekhnika” presented coiled tubing installation МК30Т.

It is based on patienoe all-wheel drive chassis of the Minsk wheeled tractor plant Volat (Minsk wheel tractor plant-652760). Feature of the machine cabin, featuring a new design and a redesigned interior. Payload chassis – 38 tons. The machine is equipped with a turbodiesel YAMZ-7511 power of 400 HP

As for all coiled tubing installation, it weighs 35 tons and has impressive dimensions: length of 15.35 m, width – 2,55 m, height – 3,90 m.

Maximum traction force-injector – 27200 lbs. thrust force – 13000 kg. the Speed of movement of the flexible steel pipe: minimum of 0.015 m/s (0.9 m/min), a maximum of 0.8 m/s (48 m/min). Diameter/length of flexible steel pipe – 38.1 mm/5000 m. the Diameter and length of the combined flexible steel pipe – 38.1 mm/6200 m.

Recall that the main feature of coiled tubing units from the classical drilling – the use of a continuous flexible steel pipe. This allows you to provide access to the horizontal trunks. Moreover, there is no need to perform operations on the Assembly/disassembly of the drill string.

Equipment for coiled tubing includes not only a flexible metal pipe, and various downhole and surface equipment: coiled tubing units (including coil tubing, injection head, etc.). As well – drilling pump booster installation or special compressors for injection of inert gas, equipment for heating the process fluid, the generator inert gas and a variety of wellhead equipment.
