The fire in the camp of the Odessa mayor was removed from office a number of officials

The mayor was suspended from office officials, in whose conducting there was a children’s camp “Victoria”.

For the tragedy in Odessa the camp “Victoria”, where he died on the night of September 16, three children, the mayor Gennady Trukhanov was suspended today from his post pending investigation of three more officials of the city Council.

This information Trukhanov sounded conciliatory Council of deputies, said city Council member Anna Pozdnyakova in Facebook.

“Only that at the conciliatory Council became known, the mayor was removed from office officials, in whose conducting there was a children’s camp “Victoria”: the Vice-mayor for humanitarian issues (Zinaida, Tsvirinko), head of Department of capital construction (Boris Panov), head of urban GASK (Alexander Avdeev),” – said Pozdnyakov.

According to her, on the agenda of tomorrow’s session of the city Council is also recommended to submit the question of establishing a working group to conduct internal investigation of causes and circumstances that led to the tragedy.

It is worth noting that to impeach the head of the city of GASK, instructed the mayor on 18 September at the meeting of the operational headquarters of the SSES, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Gennady Zubko.

As reported, on September 16 filed a letter of resignation the Director of the Department of education and science of the Odessa city Council Elena buynevich.

On 18 September, the court sanctioned 60-day arrest in a criminal investigation of two officials of the municipal children’s camp “Victoria” – the Director of the institution of Petros Sarkisyan and his assistant on matters of fire safety Natalia Ancic.

As reported in Odessa on the night of September 16 lit one of the buildings of the children’s camp “Victoria”, which at the time were more than 40 children. As a result of the fire killed the children: the death of the two girls is confirmed, the search for third continues, despite the fact that the ashes were found the fragments of three bodies.

According to preliminary findings, the cause of fire was violation of fire safety rules.

The fact of the fire opened criminal proceedings on signs of part 2 of article 270 of the criminal code (violation of established by legislation requirements of fire security).
