The fire at the Odessa camp Victoria: named for the reason

Examination showed that the cause of the fire, which killed children, was the scauldron.

The cause of the fire at the Odessa children’s camp Victoria became included household kettle that was left unattended.

These are the conclusions from the study of the technical cause of the fire, which was signed by the head of the laboratory of gschs of Ukraine in Odessa region, the Lieutenant Colonel of service of civil protection Alexei Pankratov.

“The examination determined that the fire started in the living room, room 4 on the ground floor of the building № 5, in the place where stood the table. In this room lived the artistic Director of the dance ensemble, Adele T. Egorova,” the statement reads.
