The Finance Ministry has proposed to extend from 1 January 2020 the experiment on taxation of self-employed. The draft amendments to the law published on the portal of projects of normative acts, it is said that a pilot project should include another 19 regions.
“Begin the experiment by establishing a special tax regime “Tax on professional income” from January 1, 2020… in the Federal city of St.-Petersburg, Voronezh, Volgograd, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Rostov, Samara, Sakhalin, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnoyarsk and Perm regions, in the Nenets Autonomous district, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district, the Republic of Bashkortostan”, — the document says.
Recall from 2019 in a pilot project is underway in Moscow, the Moscow region, Kaluga region and Tatarstan Republic. Tax rate for self-employed includes insurance contributions to the HIF, but does not involve contributions to the pension Fund and is 4% when working only with individuals or 6% in cooperation with companies.
