The actress of the TV series “servant of the people. From love to impeachment” Olga Rukavtsova told about the tragedy which happened with her husband.

— Olga, you since the childhood dreamed to become an actress?
— No, in my childhood, I just wanted to be a beautiful woman (laughs). Specific desires about the profession I had. But I went to the theatre — I called back the Director, who saw me in the school KVN. My first role — the little robber-girl in “the Snow Queen”. Then, when I was choosing a University, living in Zaporozhye, mom put me before a choice: either I go to University for free education and I buy a sheepskin coat, or I can do commercial, but left without new things (laughs). Because I thought that the woman is very important to have a sheepskin coat, I set a goal to enter the theatre, the actor’s branch which at us in Zaporozhye opened. And so: I did the first time, and mom bought me a sheepskin coat (laughs). Almost immediately I fell in love with acting and very happy with their student years working in the specialty. I was immediately taken to Zaporizhzhya youth theatre for children’s performances. Then with his girlfriend Vika, Bulitko (actress Studio “Diesel”. — Ed.RV) we made the comic Duo of “Halva”, which participated in various competitions. Some time later I decided to move to Kiev, where he learned more on the drama theatre Director. Then I met my future husband, we went to him in the Dnieper river to have a child, and now we live here.
— What are the first money you earned in life?
— The first money I earned in the 90s. My grandfather traded in the market of construction materials, my brother in the summer I went and helped him and he paid us money. Remember, I sold Wallpaper, adhesive, grout. I was about 10. In more adult life my friends and moonlighting as entertainers at children’s parties. By the way, not the most pleasant job, because children are different. Sometimes even brought to tears! I also wrote the lyrics for a sketch show. One of them I met actor and Director Cyril Binomial, which cooperates with “a Quarter,” he advised me and Alexey Kiryushchenko, when he was looking for the actress in the TV series “servant of the people”. Then it turned out that one of the authors of the series, Yuriy Kostyuk, saw me in the play and also confirmed that I was right for the role. That’s how I ended up in the “Servant of the people” — even without trial.
— What was your first meeting with Kiryushchenko?
One of my actor friend warned that this is a very specific Director, but I’ll still be happy with the result. And so it happened! This phrase in all the difficult moments Aleksei Adolfovich warmed and continues to warm my heart. When the first season of the series, I was happy. Now enjoy watching the second.
— After the first season you started to learn on the streets?
— Not really. But a funny thing happened: I was riding in the bus, and at me boys-Gopnik from the area began to pay attention and to shout loudly something like this “girl from the “public Servants”. Usually it happens rarely that I recognized. And I do enjoy it, I do not deliver any inconveniences. But that case was an exception. This guy in the bus so he started shouting, I told him that he was wrong. But he insisted: found in the phone my photos and began to prove to me that I am who I am (laughs). I laughed so hard, but I’m still not confessed.
— Your son was a year and a half, when you started filming the first season. It was a difficult period in your life?
Very. Especially as once in a while my husband had a stroke a spinal cord, and I lay with him in the hospital. Since then, Dima moves on a wheelchair… the Tragedy happened in may, and three months later they called me with the offer to star. I immediately told the truth that you can’t even come to audition, because I find my husband in the hospital. In General, the “servant of the people” appeared in a very difficult period of my life. It was a gift, a great happiness after all the difficulties that we had to go through. In some episodes of the first season, the eyes to notice my emotional state — because at the time I thought my life was over. It was a terrible test in my life. You can’t imagine how happy everyone is behind these shootings, because thanks to them I finally did not give up. It now Dima is athletic and independent, but still a lot of difficulties. And then it is impossible even to sit.
— How did this happen?
— Dima went to Poland to cheer for your favorite football team “Dnepr”. And there, right in the stadium, he exploded the vessel. A spinal stroke is not recognized externally, as head, so he did not go immediately to the hospital, because I didn’t understand what had happened, something terrible.
— And the doctors are saying?
— Oh, nothing. The spinal cord is a very complex thing. Miracles certainly do happen, but to sit on his hands. In General, the life of people with such disabilities — is a separate conversation. In our country somehow think that no such people or their units. For such people, a banal street access to the whole event, and there is almost nothing for them is not there. To understand the situation, in our country are such people, do not be afraid to call the amount of the pension of my husband. It is 1200 UAH! When I was on maternity leave, I was asked to draw him custody. Know how long they would have me pay extra? Two hundred hryvnia per month! It’s funny and scary. It is not yet in a position to continue to work. Fortunately, my husband remained a private matter, and when he was sick, he was able to organize everything. Today, when we go out together, I often notice people’s views. They look surprised and don’t understand that you can be happy and in a wheelchair, it is possible to dress fashionably and walk to the restaurant. It is very rare when in such a situation people can not afford just to be happy. I understand, for it is constant work on yourself. In General, our main happiness is the son of Alex. When you feel sad, he is very funny.
— The crew of “the Servants” were aware of what challenges you have to overcome?
— Knew the Director, we talked to him on the subject, he even offered. But by that time we already have collected enough money for surgery and rehabilitation. Once in this situation, I realized how great around people. Many friends and acquaintances responded, even completely unknown people. And so now, when I see that someone needs help, I took out my phone and sent though a small amount, but believe me, it is very necessary for someone. It just seems that 50 hryvnia ashamed to send, but it’s not. A “Quarter” I will always be grateful because in this situation gave me a job, a necessary and important for me.
