Midfielder of the national team of Turkey Mehmet Topal got embarrassed during a match of the 4th qualifying round of the Champions League. Player of Fenerbahce scored a ridiculous own goal during the match with the Macedonian “Vardara”.
Ridiculous episode for the experienced 31-year old player happened in the last minutes of the match. In added time, when Vardar were in the minority, Topal managed on level ground in his own penalty area to LOB the goalkeeper. In the end the ball flew into the empty net to the delight of the local audience.
It is worth noting that the game in Macedonia ended with loud sensation – Vardar defeated fenerbahçe with a score 2:0.
