Traveling crazy family.

Being a parent is not easy, but what about care of the new born baby and at the same time to travel to new countries? One is normal family from Canada, where my mother is a nurse and my father was a Builder, went on a trip almost immediately after the birth of their first child. And now, when their eldest daughter just over three years, and little Quinn was not even a year, they will again explore new places of the globe.

Karen Edwards and her husband Shawn Bayes from London managed to crank out this venture because Karen as the nurse is granted a year of leave to care for a child. In 2016, the 32-year-old Karen decided to use this time “wisely.” She organized my blog Travel Mad Mum (“Traveling crazy mommy”), and seizing the daughter of Esme’s arm and went to explore the world.

In February 2017, when the couple learned that they are expecting their second child, they announced that the second of your holiday will also be spent on travel, only now they will have four. “I’m just a nurse from the UK and I was very lucky that I have a year off. It is not paid in full, but partly Yes. We rent our house while traveling.”

This time, the couple went to another continent: they began their trip North in calgary, Canada. Then went to Vancouver, then in the United States along the entire West coast. “Now we explore Latin America, in the morning arrived in El Salvador, wrote Karen on 3 November. – As you can see, we have gone very far.”

Of course, the pair admits to not always have things go smooth. “I wouldn’t change this journey for anything else, it’s just amazing, but the bad days, we also happen. Lining schedule transportation, late bus, lost Luggage, baby tantrums, baby illness – of course, just when we are somewhere in the middle of the great nothing. But on the other hand, it’s all worth it. I already second time became a mother, and I can say that the support my husband is the most important thing.”

When Karen asked what means they travel, she explains that the first time was more difficult than now, despite the fact that they are now with two children. “Like I said, I’m a nurse and my husband is a Builder. I prefer to think that we are just frugal traveller. The first time we travelled completely on my own. This time it’s a little different because I already have a successful blog, and some hotels want me to write about them and therefore provide us with free housing. It is much more than we even imagined.”

“My blog I hope to inspire other young parents to travel with their children. Being abroad, it was easier to recognize themselves as a parent. Last time we were together, caring for one child. I think if I stayed home, I would be most of the time alone and would feel lonely. And so I have always had help and I could always distracted by something else.” Indeed, Karen admits that she often gets messages from other moms who are looking at her, also began to travel. “People understand that the possibility is always there. To stay at home during leave to care for a child is normal. But this does not mean that there should be and can be the only way.”
