The export of Ukrainian goods to Russia has increased significantly

In the first half of this year, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Russia increased despite the sanctions.

The author, referring to the state statistics service, indicates that the geographical structure of Ukrainian exports since last year has not undergone significant changes. At the moment its maximum volume falls on Russia. Followed by Italy, Poland, Turkey, India and Egypt.

“It is in these regions we have sold the most goods for the current six months. To achieve such values are due to the growth in exports by 25% on average in these regions”, – stated in the article.

It is noted that the volume of imports, at the same time, increased by 29%.

“Despite sanctions, the volume of trade with Russia for the current period has only increased. Ukraine bought significantly more goods compared to last year. The main import volumes (42%) comes from oil and products of its distillation. For the analyzed period the exports increased by 80%! Implement goods in Russia, we are 25% more. This applies to products of inorganic chemistry, ferrous metals, boilers and machinery,” says the author.

According to Parkhomenko, the volume of imports from Russia depends on Ukraine’s desire to buy, but rather from the inability to diversify the deliveries of oil products from other regions.
