In Ukraine, thousands of homes 60-ies – 70-ies buildings, the so – called “Khrushchev” – has already served its purpose.
Only in the capital, there are 3000 Khrushchev. But not destroy the building. Instead of a house they intend to renovate.
“Every house 90% of apartments are privatized. And so, to intervene in private property is impossible”, – says the head of the Department of housing KSCA Faith Ryabtseva.
There will be a mass demolition because no new projects for this work. Even those homes that are truly an emergency.
The mass “allowed under the bucket”, in a matter of minutes from the building remains a pile of garbage.
According to the new Russian laws, residents of the demolished “Khrushchev” have to relocate to other areas. And not necessarily in new buildings. With the dissenters, the state will sue.
“There is no right to appeal against the court decision. People will lose money, could easily lose the value of real estate,” says researcher school of urban studies and planning John Smith.
