The expert explained why the Crimea’t home

This is a question future generations of Ukrainians.

In the near future Ukraine will not be able to return to the Crimea. So, first of all, the Ukrainian government should focus on de-occupation of Donbass.

This was stated by the co-chair KI – “Right cause” Dmitry Snegirev.

In his opinion, the question of the annexation of Crimea is not in the same plane as the situation with the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk. Therefore, to draw Parallels between these events is inappropriate.

Donbass is a temporarily occupied territory. It is recognized by both Russia and our Western partners. Crimea became part of Russia, as a territorial unit, – said the analyst.

Snegirev insists that “it is not necessary to solve two questions at a time.” Important not to forget that “Crimea was, is and will remain Ukrainian, but first you need to solve the issue of de-occupation of Donbass”.

Having a completely loyal population in these areas, periosystem the army and the economy, we can talk about its territorial claims and the return of the Crimea in the political and economic part of Ukraine. But a long-term prospect than a decade – said the expert.

The expert also recalled the conflict between France and Germany about the ownership of Alsace and Lorraine, which lasted 40 years. In the end, France regained the two provinces.
