The Director of the Institute for political analysis and international studies Sergey Tolstov believes that the United States will not agree to supply Ukraine with lethal weapons without serious worsening in the area of ATO.
“About the weapon is not necessary to hurry. If nothing will change in the conflict zone, the weapon is not a priority. But I saw that the Ministry of defense recalled the five-year partnership programme with the Ministry of defense of Ukraine, which was signed last year. Previously, they did not stutter, but now apparently it was time,” said Tolstov.

Recall, the US special envoy Kurt Volker’s visit to Kiev on 23 August, where he will meet with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities. Besides him, in Ukraine arrives Minister of defence of the USA James Mattis.
