The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has instructed the representatives of Kiev in the Trilateral contact group to immediately begin negotiations on the next round of exchange of the Ukrainian hostages.

“Another thing that requires our common efforts, is to pull those guys back there. I have already instructed their advisers, their representatives in the Trilateral contact group that we immediately arranged a meeting. And I want to say that number 10 we have will the first meeting that we on this wave did not stop, because I feel how hard it is now,” Poroshenko said Saturday during a visit to the Main military clinical hospital of Ukrainian soldiers, released from ORDO.

The President also asked the freed soldiers to write letters to their friends that are still in captivity in illegal detention and to communicate with their families.

“If you were friends with, write them letters, give the doctor, and I’ll try the 10th when I go to send them, it would be nice,” – said the head of state.

Earlier in the SBU said that at the moment 103 people remain in captivity in the occupied territories in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, dozens of them – in the Russian Federation.

December 27 the long-awaited release of Ukrainian hostages in two stages. First, the Ukrainian side exchanged with “LC” – freed 16 people, and after some time was exchanged with the “DPR” – controlled territory of Ukraine returned 58 people. Militants the Ukrainian side is not transmitted 306 fighters, as previously announced, and 238 people – 165 in “DNR” and 73 “LC”. This is due to the fact that a lot of persons from the list have either been previously released from detention, either refused to return to ORDO.
