The European Union plans to allocate 50 million euros for the restoration of Donbass

Johannes Hahn welcomed the restoration of urban infrastructure.

The European Union intends to allocate Ukraine additional 50 million euros for the implementation of humanitarian projects in the Donbas.

This was stated by EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn.

So, Johannes Hahn praised the restoration of urban infrastructure in Mariupol and said that today the EU considers the question of the allocation of Ukraine additional 50 million euros for the implementation of humanitarian projects and reconstruction of urban infrastructure.

“We appreciate the community assistance in the reconstruction of damaged infrastructure in the Donbass. Of course, this is an invaluable contribution to the solution of humanitarian problems of the local people affected by the military aggression of the Russian Federation”, – said the first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko.
