The European Commission has approved a referendum on Catalan independence is illegal, and arising in connection with this situation an internal affair of Spain. This is referred to in the statement of the European Commission, which it received on Monday, October 2.

“We urge all parties to quickly move from confrontation to dialogue. Violence can never be an instrument in politics”, – stated in the European Commission.
