German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of France Emmanuel macron have agreed to establish a Eurozone budget.
About the leaders of the two countries said after talks in the German castle of Meseberg.
“We are opening a new Chapter. We are working to ensure that the budget for the Eurozone to strengthen investment, and to strengthen convergence in the Euro area”, – said Merkel.
She said that the reform of the Euro zone was the hardest question in their with Macron negotiations. Among his main topics was also the defense capability of the United Europe and resolve the migration crisis.
Macron said that the new agreed joint budget sector, the Eurozone will operate from 2021.
He said details of the budget, including the amount and funding from national sources, or compulsory tax, will be presented to Ministers before the end of the year.
