A decree on Russia’s recognition of documents “LDNR” inconsistent with the spirit of the Minsk agreements, said the EU.
Russia’s recognition of the documents of the “DNR” and “LNR” do not correspond to the Minsk agreement and they will not be recognized in the framework of the European Union.
This was stated by the speaker of the EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini Maya Kosyanchich.
According to her, during the meeting, Mogherini, Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in Munich discussed the corresponding decree of the Russian President.
“The decree is not consistent with the spirit of the Minsk agreements. The EU remains unwavering in its support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and unity of Ukraine and the full implementation of the Minsk dogovarennosti” she said.
“Travel documents issued by the so-called DNR and LC in the framework of the European Union will not be recognized”, – added in the EU.
