The measures will come into force before the end of September.
The EU Council approved the temporary trade preferences for Ukraine. This is stated in the press release of the EU Council on Monday, July 17.
“Today’s decision, we allow more export of Ukrainian products to the EU. It is our duty to support Ukraine and to strengthen our economic and political relations amid a long-running conflict in the country”, – said the head of the EU Council Sven Mixer.
The measures will come into force before the end of September and will apply for three years.
Informed trade preferences for Ukraine was supported 566 MEPs voted against the 96 parliamentarians.
