Visa-free regime between EU and Ukraine will enter into force before the end of June.
About it in interview to Agency UNIAN said the head of the EU delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli.
He expressed the hope that the problems with the abolition of visas will not be, despite the upcoming elections in France.
“In principle, the decision was made in Brussels and now everything runs according to plan. The regime should enter into force before the end of June,” said Mingarelli.
According to him, after the introduction of a visa-free regime to Ukrainians “will be treated as any citizens of third countries outside the EU.”
“If, therefore, the representatives of the border control there are some doubts, they can ask a few questions about paying for any accommodation if they have sufficient funds with them, and if they can’t prove it, as in the case of any citizen from third countries, they can refuse entry,” said Mingarelli.
