The economy of Turkmenistan has increased dramatically and “outdone” the Russian

The economy of Turkmenistan in January—October 2019 was up 6.3 per cent, from the data of the State information Agency of the country.

In October, the world Bank worsened the GDP of Turkmenistan in 2019, to 5% from 5.6% expected in June. Last year, the country’s economy has increased 6.2%, according to “Finmarket”.

Thus, the pace of economic recovery in Turkmenistan at times exceed the growth of Russia’s GDP.

Last week Rosstat has published the preliminary data according to which the economy of the Russian Federation for the III quarter of 2019 added 1.7% yoy. Thus, the country’s GDP growth nearly doubled after rising 0.9% in April—June and 0.5% in the first three months of this year. For the first 3 quarters of the year, the economy added 1.1%.

Data for October and the first 10 months has not yet been reported, but the Ministry of economic development (MED) of the Russian Federation assumes that in October—December of the current year economic growth in Russia will remain roughly at the level of the third quarter. “In the fourth quarter of 2019, is expected to maintain the pace of growth approximately at the level of the third quarter of 2019, which corresponds to the forecast of Ministry of economic development for GDP growth in 2019 (1.3 per cent)”, — stated in the review of the MAYOR.
