“In a week the dollar on the interbank market may be trading close to 27.5 UAH and the cash dollar in banks might be quoted about 27,4/27,6 UAH”, – he said.
Analysts said that on the eve of the first round of elections, the dollar rose, but the dynamics of this growth did not exceed that observed in recent months.
Over the past week the dollar has changed to the local currency in different segments of the currency market in different ways, trailing the official rate barely declined in the remaining segments of the market, the dollar gained to the torque of 0.8 to 1.6%, said the expert.
So, from Friday to Friday the official rate of dollar established by the NBU, decreased from 27.26 UAH to 27.25 UAH (less than -0.1 percent). Demand/supply of the dollar on the interbank market, according to the company “Ukrdealing”, during the same period increased from of 26.88/26,91 to 27,28/27,33 (+1,5%/+1,6%). The average buying/selling rate of cash dollar in banks rose for the week 26,87/of 27.15 to 27,12/27,37 (+0,9%/+0,8%). The spread between the average sale and the average purchase decreased from 1.0% to 0.9% due to the faster growth rate of buying compared to selling.
