Organic products reduce the risk of developing non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and breast cancer.
To such conclusion the French scientists, in the study involving 68 946 people.
Subjects depending on the volume of consumption of organic products were divided into different groups, watching them 4.5 years. The separation experts take into account the presence in the diet of 16 organic products, including fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, ready meals, vegetable fats, seasonings and food additives.
In the course of research scholars registered 1 340 cases of cancer. Most of these were breast cancer (459 cases). Further, the frequency of diagnosis was prostate cancer (180 cases), skin (135 cases), colorectal carcinoma (99 cases) and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (47 cases).
It turned out that people ate more organic, 25% less likely to have faced cancer. In particular, the risk of developing non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and breast cancer was reduced by 73% and 21% respectively.
