Researchers from the University of Western Australia found that daily consumption of a Cup of tea or a handful of berries a day may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
The scientists analyzed the eating behavior and health status of 53 thousand people. They all took part in the study Danish Diet, Cancer and Health Study, which lasted for 23 years.
The experiment showed that people who drank every day, about 500 milligrams of flavonoids (contained in large amounts in green tea), much less likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease. Scientists have noticed among fans of green tea reduced the risk of coronary disease and stroke.
