The doctors called a simple but effective way to extend the life

The staff of Vanderbilt University analyzed data from 74 941 women from China aged from 40 to 70 years.

The participants answered questions about physical activity in high school and adulthood. Women were interviewed every 2-3 years. The researchers also assessed the health of participants.

The study showed that women who engaged in team sports and exercise regularly, the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease and other chronic diseases were reduced.

Under regular exercise meant at least one workout a week for three months. Participants that were active in their Teens, died from cancer on 13% less, and from cardiovascular disease by 17% less. The probability of death for any reason was reduced by 20%.

According to experts, further research is needed.
