Amazing study involving laboratory rats showed that this product, which is widely used in curries and soups, decreases pressure, which gradually increased with aging. High blood pressure or hypertension is a silent killer, because quite often it does not show any symptoms. But hypertension leads to strokes, heart attacks and heart failure. Only in England on the purchase of different kinds of medicines against hypertension, the government spends over a billion pounds a year.
And now scientists from the University of Manitoba have discovered a much more affordable way of standing high blood pressure. It turned out that eating lentils restores the health of blood vessels, which positively affects the performance pressure. The authors of the study called their findings striking. It turned out that lentils improve blood flow to the limbs of rats suffering from peripheral artery diseases.
Also, this product is effective in blocking arterial pressure jumps, which are observed in almost every fourth inhabitant of Ukraine.
