Director John Hyams, under whose guidance was released on the 3rd and 4th part of the blockbuster “Universal soldier”, and several episodes of the TV series “Ancient” and “Z Nation” will shoot an English-language remake of the Thriller “Lost” (“Försvunnen”). The original was removed in 2011 debutants Mattias Olsson and Henrik Okeson scenario Olsson. The synopsis of the movie reads:
Young woman Malin just went through a tragedy in his family. She decides to leave home and start a new life in another city in the North of the country. During this long trip she meets a mysterious stranger who begins to chase her. She does not have time to understand anything, as he kidnaps her and locks in the basement in the woods. Does anyone know of her departure? Will someone find her? If she wants to survive, it has to rely only on themselves.
The remake will be called “Alone”. Producers will be Jordan Foley and Jonathan Rosenthal. Hyams had planned to make a remake of the horror film “Maniac COP”, but its production was canceled as a result.
