By estimates of the edition, the company owed to employees of shops “Family” and “Spar” more than 10 million rubles.

On the eve of the fired workers came to the shopping complex on the Danube Avenue and demanded to pay off their debt for salary for the last two months. According to the St. Petersburg Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the payment was demanded about 400 people. 200 of them entered the building and, as reported in the police “interfered with the work of the shopping complex.”

Law enforcement agencies began checking on the fact of non-payment of wages to employees of chain stores.

The last day for many stores began on December 19. The company two days prior to this date has sent an official notice to the subtenants. On the eve of the final closing of supermarkets arranged the sale. Some products that failed to sell, were taken from the stores by suppliers.

The employees of one of the shops “Spar” told “Rosbalt” that the day before closing they were forced to resign, and many employees are not paid a salary.
