The security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has told details of detention of the official of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, suspected of working for the security services of the Russian Federation (RF).
“Employees of counterintelligence of SBU exposed the official of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers on activities in the interests of the secret services of the country-an aggressor”, – is spoken in the message. According to militiamen, the official was recruited by the Russian special services during long trips abroad.
So, field investigators of SBU documented that the officer on the instructions of Russian curators were gathered by special equipment information about the activities of government agencies. The data obtained by the malefactor gave the curators via electronic communication channels. With the assistance of the leadership of the Ukrainian government, intelligence agent of the Russian Federation the staff of SBU detained on the workplace.
In the framework of criminal proceedings opened under part 1 of article 111 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, continue to Prime procedural actions, in particular searches at the place of work and residence of the official. The detainee it is declared suspicion in Commission of crime.
