The international Olympic Committee promises to the end of the year to render a decision on the statement in Pyeongchang, the Russian athletes.
Decisive Executive Committee meeting the IOC on the Russian question to be held in Lausanne on 5-6 December. This information was confirmed by the IOC official website of the organization.
IOC decision on Russia’s participation in the Olympics 2018 will be made on the basis of the reports of the special committees headed by Samuel Schmid and Denis Oswald.
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that the Olympics in Pyeongchang Russia will go just under the national flag. Performance at the Games in 2018 as a neutral country athletes doping with the state system does not address.
The IOC has already issued some severe verdicts by the Russian athletes caught in doping fraud. So, as a result of cancellation of results of the skiers, Russia has lost four medals home from the Olympic games 2014 in Sochi.
Winter Olympic games-2018 will be held from 9 to 25 February in Pyeongchang (South Korea). More than 2,500 athletes from approximately 90 countries will compete for 98 sets of medals in 7 sports.
