Consent to the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers still has to give the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman.
The Czech government will resign, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka today, may 2, in Prague.
According to him, the reason for this step were suspected of tax evasion by Minister of Finance and first Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Babish. The official, who is also a businessman and a billionaire, still not being able to properly explain the situation.
Consent to the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers still has to give the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman. For that Sobotka is scheduled to meet with the head of state.
“Soon I will file my resignation to President Zeman. It is unacceptable that Andrew Babish remained Minister of Finance”, – said the Prime Minister.
Earlier Sobotka swore at himself on the page in Facebook of Babish. He wrote that Babish their operations with securities “důkladně ojebal český stát” (“thoroughly at**al of the Czech state”).
