SBU believes Herman, the organizer of the assassination attempt on journalist Arkady Babchenko.
Ukrainian businessman Boris Herman said that didn’t make the attempt on the journalist Arkady Babchenko, and took part in a special operation of the Ukrainian security services to identify financing channels of Russian spies and agents of influence in Ukraine.
During the meeting of Shevchenkovsky court of Kiev on Wednesday evening, may 31, Herman said that for several months he maintained contact with the Russian head of the “Fund of Putin” a citizen of Ukraine Vyacheslav Pivovarnya who resides in Moscow.
This communication, according to the businessman, agreed and documented with the Ukrainian counterintelligence, as the Fund allegedly financed acts of terror and sabotage, as well as public organizations and political parties that operate in the interests of the Kremlin.
Herman argues that Pivovarnik encouraged him to organize in Ukraine, killing 30 people. As the suspect counterintelligence sanctioned his consent, to document evidence and to obtain prompt information.
A veteran of the ATO Alexei Tsimbalyuk, according to Herman, he turned, as he was sure that he “cannot kill an innocent man” and be sure to tell about the preparation for the crime of the SBU.
