Shevchenko district court of Kyiv seized the seized office of the company Yandex.Ukraine in Odessa, 185 36 laptops and system units, other media and all documentation. This is stated in the court order dated June 1, 2017, published on Wednesday, June 14.
According to the document, seized during a search of the SBU may 29, objects and documents have been examined and declared evidence.
“Seized during a search of the documents contain data regarding the collection and accumulation with the aim of further transfer to the Russian Federation the information on personal data of Ukrainian citizens and critical infrastructure of the state, and for computer and telecommunications equipment contained elements of information transfer in the Russian Federation” – appears in the document, the excerpt from the petition of the SBU.
Thus, the seized items have signs of the instruments of the criminal offence and can be used as evidence. “The return of the seized objects and documents of OOO “Yandex.Ukraine” will lead to the destruction or distortion of contained information about them in order to avoid criminal prosecution for the investigated crime,” according to the SBU.
