Alexei Navalny and Peter ofitserova again found guilty of theft of property of the enterprise “Kirovles”. It follows from the text of the sentence, which reads in the Leninsky district court of Kirov judge Alex vtyurin.
Earlier, the prosecution asked to sentence Navalny to five years imprisonment and Ofitserov to four years. In addition, the Prosecutor asked to appoint to both a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
Navalny himself has ruled out the possibility of acquittal and come to the reading with a bag prepared for jail.
The case of embezzlement at the Kirovles company was re-examined, as the European court of human rights found that in the first process Navalny and Ofitserov were found guilty of acts not distinguishable from the normal conduct of business.
In the retrial the plot of the charges has not changed. The judge vtyurin refused to call all the witnesses and experts of the defence, citing the fact that this information is in the file.
