Martynenko was released on bail.
The Solomensky district court of Kiev refused to arrest the former Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mykola Martynenko (people’s front) and gave him on bail of 15 members of Parliament, the Minister of youth and sport Igor Zhdanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Central election Commission Andriy Bars.
Thus, the court denied in full the petition of Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office.
The court ordered Martynenko not to leave Kiev, to hand over the passport, to not associate with persons involved in criminal proceedings, to arrive at the first request to the detective in court.
Obligations will be in effect until June 20.
In case of violation Martynenko commitment of his guarantors may be fined up to 150 thousand hryvnia.
20 APR detectives of the National anti-corruption Bureau detained Martynenko.
He is suspected of creating a criminal organization and theft of 17.28 million dollars in the procurement of uranium concentrate to state enterprise “Eastern mining and enrichment plant (Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region).
SAP asked the court to arrest Martynenko and set bail of 300 million hryvnia.
