The judge satisfied the petition of lawyers ex-the President.
Obolonskiy district court of Kiev postponed consideration of the case against the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych of treason on may 29.
“In the case court is adjourned until 10:00 on may 29,” said the presiding judge Vladislav Devyatko.
Note, the court granted the motion to transfer in connection with a request of the lawyers of Yanukovych was about time to review the materials, according to which the Prosecutor’s office requested to apply the procedure in absentia conviction.
“The defense asks to withdraw from consideration the issue of applying special correspondence of condemnation. Because at the preparatory meeting, the issue is not solved, it needs to be considered by the court after the adoption of the indictment,” said the lawyer Vitaly Serdyuk.
