The court imposed arrest on the property of the children’s camp “Victoria”

The court made the decision.

Primorsky district court of Odessa was arrested without the right of disposal and use of buildings 18 children’s camp “Victoria”, one of which burned down on September 16. The total area seized buildings 4065,4 sq. m.

Property seized in the investigation of the case of the death of children in the camp, and the checks of fire safety in premises. Investigators believe that the property has preserved traces of a criminal offence and can act as evidence of the crime. No arrest would entail possible alterations, repairs or change of purpose of buildings.

We will remind that during a fire the municipal children’s recreational and sports camp “Victoria” is killed three children. According to the adviser of the head of the National police in Odessa region Ruslan Forostyak, among the victims were two girls. The third is not currently found.

Fire in children’s health and sports camp “Victoria” took place in Odessa in the late evening of Friday, September 15. Rescuers extinguished as the camp and the adjacent cottages it was reported that “the heat is so strong that it began to melt the balcony and busted the glass.” Housing camps, in which the fire occurred has already been destroyed and burns.

Activists in social networks noted that the death of children happened due to the negligence of a number of people, responsible for the safety of children. So, the camp wasn’t even water to extinguish a fire, even though in may the school was visited by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who called the camp a “model” and “fantastic”.

The mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov has promised that all the documents that relate to the children’s camp “Victoria”, to be published. And the Governor of Odesa oblast Maksim Stepanov stated that it is necessary to remove officials of the district administration, one way or another involved in the camp.
