The Pechersky district court of Kiev found guilty of committing an administrative offense of the head of the party “the Progressive socialist party of Ukraine” Natalia Vitrenko.
About it reports a press-service of the National Agency for prevention of corruption.
In particular, the decision stated that Vitrenko fined 1700 UAH and confiscate 42,6 thousand hryvnias of contributions, which was passed at the monthly meeting in support of a political party.
As you know, according to the law “On political parties in Ukraine”, cash contributions to political parties are made through Bank transactions.
“Employees of Department on prevention of political corruption revealed the fact of receipt of funds in violation of applicable law. According to the documentary base, membership fees and charitable donations were given up at party meetings with a subsequent payment of cash to the Bank account of the political forces”, – is spoken in the message.
