Valery Samardak posted bail at 1 million, which he refused.
Uzhgorod city district court had taken into custody with the alternative to a bail of 1 million UAH of the mayor of chop Valery Samardak, suspected of extortion and receiving bribes.
In addition, according to the court, Samardak forbidden to travel abroad and to appear in the workplace.
We will remind that on may 29 police detained participants of the criminal scheme, the participants of which were the mayor of chop, deputies and heads of departments of the city Council.
