The court arrested the former head of Appellate court of Crimea

The Goloseevsky district court of Kiev was taken into custody for 2 months the former head of Appellate court of the Crimea Valeriy Chernobuk suspected of treason.

This was reported by press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan.

The court ruled on Monday. The chernobuk a preventive measure in the form of uncontested detention for a period of 2 months.

Thus, the court has completely satisfied the petition of Prosecutor’s office.

Recall, November 3, police detained the former head of the Appeal court of Crimea on suspicion of treason in Kiev.

It is established that in March 2014 Chernobuk has publicly supported the annexation of Crimea by Russia. At the same time, the illegal Crimean authorities dismissed him from his post and banned entry to the Peninsula.

On the mainland Ukraine Chernobuk took part in anti-terrorist operations and was appointed judge of the court of Appeal of Dnipropetrovsk region. Suspected Chernobuk has been in absentia announced on July 11. 19 July, he was declared wanted.
