The court allowed to write off $3 million of Gazprom in favor of Ukraine

The court at the second attempt allowed the Executive office to debit payable to Gazprom 79,9 million UAH of dividends.

The economic court of Kiev at the second attempt allowed the State Executive service cancellation 79,877 million hryvnia (about $3,07 million at the current exchange rate of the NBU) dividends payable to a Russian company Gazprom from a private joint stock company Gaztranzit (Kiev) on account of repayment imposed by the Antimonopoly Committee fines and penalties in the total amount of 172 billion.

This is stated in the court decision.

We will remind that earlier the Kyiv Economic court refused the State Executive service in the write-off 84,081 million hryvnia ($3,22 mln) dividends payable of the Gazprom company from a private joint stock company Gaztranzit.

Earlier, on April 28 the General meeting of shareholders of PJSC Gaztranzit decided to allocate 90% of net profit for the year 2016 in the amount of 209,066 million hryvnias for the payment of dividends.

Given the share of Gazprom 40,2174% of the shares in the capital of CHAO Hastanesi, he will get 84,081 million.

The court decided that the statement of the Executive service about the cancellation of dividends is not subject to satisfaction, because as of may 31, the list of shareholders of Gaztranzit entitled to receive dividends for 2016 is not defined.
