The Council of the EU extends sanctions over Crimea

“The Council will prolong the EU restrictive measures in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol for one year – until June 23, 2018”, – stated in the EU Council.

Recall that sanctions against Russia over Crimea include bans on imports into the EU of products from the Peninsula, the investments, and a ban on services related to tourism activities. In addition, it prohibits the export of certain goods and technologies.
