The right to legalization does not apply to high-rise residential buildings.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has allowed until 31 December 2018 to legalise the building, which was built without a permit until 9 April 2015.
For the adoption of the bill No. 3696 voted 276 deputies.
According to the document, the legalization shall be built in the period from 5 August 1992 to April 9, 2015 individual (farmstead) houses, gardens, country houses a total area of 300 sq. m, household (HOMESTEAD) buildings and constructions a total area of 300 sq m and built before March 12, 2011 buildings and structures for agricultural purposes.
However, the right to legalization does not apply to multi-storey residential buildings and facilities constructed with substantial violations of the law, and building codes and regulations.
