During the presidency of Petro Poroshenko, the maintenance costs of the President and his staff grew by almost four times.
In 2019 for the first time reduced the costs of maintenance and providing activities of the President and his administration. On Tuesday, December 11.
In particular, in 2019 for the services and the organizational, information-analytical, is material-technical ensuring activity of the head of state and presidential Administration provided 945 million. This is 11% less than it was in 2018.
It is noted that previously the cost of this program annually increased. So, in 2014, the service of the President has provided 293 million UAH, and in 2015, this amount increased 1.5% to 444 million. In 2016 it rose slightly to 457 million hryvnia, but in 2017 have increased by almost doubled to 820 million, and in 2018 increased by 30% – up to 1 billion 64 million UAH.
Overall, in 2019, the spending on State administration responsible for the funds for the services of the President was reduced from 2.7 to 2.5 billion hryvnias, that is by 8% compared to 2018.
Of these funds, 833 million allocated for the provision of medical services by hospitals and 5 million UAH – for the modernization of equipment 279 million for training of workers of state administration and training on issues of domestic and foreign policy, 105 million UAH on scientific research in the field of public administration.
Another 82 million provided for the preservation of natural-reserved Fund in national parks and nature reserves, 68 million UAH on support of sanatorium-resort establishments of health, 61 million UAH on support of the national chamber ensemble Kyiv soloists and the national Museum complex Mystetskyi Arsenal, UAH 20 million – for the development of Mystetskyi Arsenal.
Also 10 million UAH provided for the reconstruction of the Ukrainian house in Kiev and on reconstruction of premises of nutrition unit at the children’s center Artek, 21 million UAH on the production of state awards and 2 million hryvnia – the state prize.
