The company Crytek has sold his Studio developers

SEGA acquired the Bulgarian piece of Crytek.

From the masters of graphics from Crytek is now on hard times: in late December, the company announced that covers a large part of their subsidiary studios. However, at least one team managed to survive and find new owners.

SEGA Europe has purchased the remains of Crytek Black Sea in Sofia, Bulgaria. Now the Studio called Creative Assembly Sofia. On assurances of the President of SEGA Europe Jurgen Post (Jurgen Post), the new team will work exclusively on content for Creative Assembly, as well as on some unannounced projects. Probably Bulgarians are going to help with the Total War series.

The European division of SEGA declares that the Creative Assembly actually expanded notably over the past year: the companies under this name grew 37 % and now exceeds 500 people. As reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, in the UK there are three Studio Creative Assembly.

Under the guise of Crytek Black Sea, the Bulgarians developed only one game the “Moba” Arena of Fate, which never got out of closed beta. But to integrate with the family Crytek office was called Black Sea Studios and released RTS Knight of Honor and WorldShift. So a no experience in strategies at Creative Assembly Sofia is.

Note that from Crytek Black Sea already separated the development team headed by Handjieva Vesselin (Vesselin Handjiev), the founder of the original Black Sea Studios. Now Handjiev directs the Studio under the name Black Sea Games.
