In connection with the collapse of the overpass road overpass near the metro station “Shulyavska” the residents of Kiev complain that the city authorities have long been aware of its accidents, but the problem has not been resolved before the accident.

“I think it’s the result of neglect of the city authorities to their duties. That bridge burned a long time ago. You know, the project was the reconstruction of the overpass, but obviously had no money in the budget. But this time, it was possible to solve this problem. An urgent need to do something, because this is a very important overpass if it fails – it will be a very large burden on others,” said another local resident.
As noted by the inspector, Metropolitan police patrol Vitaly Svinoba, the reaction of drivers “very angry” because some due to an emergency couldn’t get home.
Recall, back in 2013, the information appeared that the Shulyavska the bridge might collapse, without waiting for the reconstruction.
