The Director of the CIA Mike Pompeo blamed the Main Directorate of the General staff of the armed forces (former GRU – ed.) to the hacker attacks on the United States and the spread of stolen data through WikiLeaks.
“In January of this year, our intelligence community has determined that the Russian military intelligence GRU has used WikiLeaks to publish data about the American casualties (hacker attacks – ed.) that GRU received as a result of cyber operations against the National Committee of the US Democratic party,” said Pompeo.
He also noted that “the Russian TV channel Russia Today actively collaborated with WikiLeaks”.
We will remind, in January, US intelligence published a report about the hacker attacks Russia to interfere in the presidential election.
