Serial production of new items will begin in 2018.
At the Shanghai motor show debuted a new model of the Chinese company Nio, built in 1360-horsepower hypercar EP9. This electric seven-seat crossover ES8, serial production of which will begin in 2018.
The body and platform of the crossover are made of aluminum. Overall length of new items is almost five meters, and the wheelbase is equal to three meters. Landing formula interior made under the scheme 2-3-2.
All the details about the hardware model yet, but the company said about the electric motors on the front and rear axles. In addition, ES8 provides the possibility of quick change battery — in the spirit of “Tesla”, when the special station batteries for a couple of minutes to disassemble and install the new one. The novelty is also equipped with air suspension.
The interior of the crossover there are two large display in the front. One plays the role of the instrument panel, and the second, with a vertical orientation of the screen of the multimedia complex.
