The car market in Ukraine showed a significant jump

The leader of the Ukrainian car market was the Toyota brand.

For 11 months of 2017 (Jan-Nov) in Ukraine was sold 73,1 thousand new cars, which is 26% more than the same period last year.

This was announced by the relevant Association Ukrautoprom.

So, the leading position in the market confidently holds the Toyota cars which have chosen 8699 buyers. Compared to the previous year sales of Toyota grew by 27%, and the most popular car brand during the reporting period was the crossover Toyota RAV-4, which was stopped 2445 Ukrainians.

The next popular car brand was Renault – 7543 cars sold in eleven months. His last year’s result, Renault has improved by a third. The sales driver of the brand was the Logan – 2550 cars.

Third place in the market retained the Skoda – 5018 cars sold (+42% compared to the same period last year). The most popular model of Skoda in Ukraine remains Octavia – 2392 car.

On the fourth position rose Volkswagen, the company previously occupying the fifth place. The demand for German folk brand grew by 28% to 5706 units. Leader in sales of VW model Polo – 1228 PCs.

The top five leaders of the Korean brand KIA – 4853 registered sales YTD (+39%). Bulking model in brand sales was the bestseller of Ukrainian market for new cars – crossover KIA Sportage, the preference which he gave 3358 motorists.

Also in the TOP 10 ranking of the most popular brands in the first 11 months were: Hyundai – 3856 PCs (+30%); Nissan – 3851 PCs (+24%); Ford – 3214 PCs (+4%); BMW – 2598 PCs (-8%) and Mercedes Benz – 2592 PCs. (+18%).

Note that in September in Ukraine were sold a record number of new cars.

In October 2017, sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine grew by 26% to 7652 car.

At the same time, in November car sales in Ukraine fell for the first time since the beginning of the year.
